Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson ),
a hotshot race car driven to win the race, discovers that life is all about the journey, not the trophies at
the finish, when he finds himself detoured in the boring Route 66 town of Radiator Springs.
Travelling to the big Piston Cup Championship in California to race against two
pros, McQueen gets to know three of the town's characters –Sally (a snazzy 2002 Porsche voiced by Bonnie Hunt ) and
Doc Hudson (a 1951 Hudson Hornet with a past, voiced by Paul Newman ), and Mater (a rusty but trusty tow truck voiced by
Larry the Cable Guy) – In the end he finds out that there are more important things than winning a race.
There's plenty of humor, action, heartfelt drama, and amazing
new technical feats in this movie. "Cars" is a high octane delight for all ages.
